Seeking A Board Chair

We are seeking a new Board Chair to join our board at Reaching for Rainbows. The role will help strengthen Rainbows’ strategic plan for the next few years and ensure the sustainability of the program, working closely with an active and engaged board containing 8 board members, including one newly appointed Vice Chair.

Monthly Responsibilities:

· 8-10 hours a month

· Weekly 1:1 meeting with Executive Director and the finance committee

· Overview of financial statements

· Support for Executive Director

· Oversee monthly board package, develop board agenda meeting

· Establish working board committees to oversee priorities

· Lead development and implementation of strategic plan

Qualifications

· Finance

· Leadership experience

· Strategic planning

· Fundraising

· Board and Governance experience

· Familiarity with non-profit and social service sector

· Passion for Rainbows mission
